Current Housing Element Mission Statement “The City of Clemson will preserve and protect the neighborhood character and quality of life in residential neighborhoods; encourage a balanced range of housing type and opportunities; promote opportunities for clean, safe and affordable housing; and maintain safety, appearance, and harmony within neighborhoods.”

Current Housing Element Goals Goal 1. Preserve and improve the character and quality of life in traditional single ‐ family neighborhoods. Goal 2. Conduct a study of Clemson’s current and projected housing market. Goal 3. Update the Zoning Ordinance and Land Development Regulations to address the City’s long ‐ term housing needs.
