3 It’s common that parents and children have disagreements, arguments, and quarrels. How do you solve those problems? Show your classmates how you deal with it. Let’s Solve It Together

4 Goal: In this activity, you have to brainstorm the suitable solutions to five common problems between parents and children. Write them down on a piece of paper, and then vote for the best one.

5 Before starting the game… ♠ Please divide the class into several groups. Each has at least three students. ♠Give each group 5 pieces of paper.

6 Let’s Solve It Together Problem 1: My parents just don't trust me in doing anything. They don't allow me to do things such as going out with friends, surfing the Internet, or watching TV.

7 Problem 2: My parents care so much about my grades. I feel there's no air for me at all. Let’s Solve It Together

8 Problem 3: My parents don't like the way I dress up myself, and neither do I like the clothes they buy for me. Let’s Solve It Together

9 Problem 4: My parents screen my phone calls. Sometimes they even overhear my talking on the phone. Let’s Solve It Together

10 Problem 5: My parents don't let me decide what I want to do in the future. They set a goal for me, but that’s not what I want to be. Let’s Solve It Together

11 ☻Now, post all the pieces of paper on the blackboard or billboard according to the sequence of problems. ☻Ask students to vote for the best solutions. Let’s Solve It Together

16 How to Play ۞ Divide the class into two groups. ۞ When the situation is shown on the slide, each group has to come up with an apology using the 7 ones shown previously. ۞ The one whose sentence is more complete and suitable for the situation wins one point.

18 Situation 2: You yelled at your parents when they were nagging about your dirty bedroom. How to Say Sorry?

19 Situation 3: You forgot that you promised to hang out with your classmates yesterday.
