A motorist who refuses to submit a chemical test and driving on any school property or within 1,000 feet of school property or through a school crossing zone will receive a $600-$1,000 fine and 1-2 year driving suspension. 2 nd offense is $1,000-$2,000 and driving suspension is 4 years. 3 rd offense is $2,000 and a suspension of 20 years. A vehicle owner who knowingly allows another motorist, who is currently suspended for DUI or refusal, to operate their vehicle- A fine no more than $1,000, no more than 15 days in prison or both.
