Spanish subject pronouns are both similar to and different from their English counterparts.

1. First person: Yo 2. Second person: Tú 3. Third person: él ella usted (Ud.)

Tú Uses: In familiar situations With friends People your age. Family Ud. Uses: In formal situations With older people Professionals At work When in doubt, use Ud.

1. First person: Nosotros/as 2. Second person: Vosotros/as 3. Third person: ellos ellas ustedes (Uds.)

vosotros 1. In Spain = you, plural familiar 2. Not used in other countries. Uds. 1. In Spain = you, plural, formal 2. Everywhere else it is simply you, plural

Nosotros 1. The “we” group is all boys/masculin e. 2. The “we” group is mixed boys & girls/masculine & feminine Nosotras 1. The “we” group is girls/feminine only.
