8 IV.What Does the Resurrection Mean? A.It was the final proof that Jesus is the Son of God & Savior. (Rom. 1:4) B.The gospel is the message of salvation. (15:1-4) C.It verifies our justification. (Rom. 3:24-25; 8:33f) D.It demonstrates the power available to us in Christ. (Eph. 1:18-20; Col. 2:11-12; Eph. 3:20; 6:10; Phil. 2:12-13). E.It gives us hope for our own resurrection. (15:20-23; 1 Pet. 1:3). F.It provides the background for the figure and the effect of baptism. (Rom. 6:3-4; 1 Pet. 3:21).

(15:58) K.It verifies the truthfulness of what Jesus taught… Conclusion: Our response to the resurrection of Christ determines our eternal destiny. Acceptance of Jesus as the Christ, the resurrected Lord, is the first step toward heaven.
