Department of Finance Southern Region How Agencies Purchase Works Different levels of purchasing: –Pre-qualification, focusing on local business to allow them to tender - via our Service Alliance –Direct purchase – up to $5,000 –Request for Quotes – between $20,000K- $150,000 –Request for Tenders – above $150,000 Goods and Services Common Use Arrangements/Local Group Buying Arrangements; Direct purchases under $50,000; Written quotes over $50,001 - $250,000; and Open tenders over $250,001 Department of Finance Eastern Region
