2 The Mission of the SCTE Foundation is to increase the technical, business and leadership skills of the telecommunications engineering workforce, attract and recruit women and minorities into an engineering career, and position the telecommunications industry as a desirable career opportunity for aspiring young people in the early stages of their careers.

3 Usage of Funds All funds raised will be placed in an endowment, the interest of which will be used for financial assistance for leadership programs, degree programs and technical training. To date, funds have been used for the following:

6 Advancing Cable Excellence Campaign Campaign Goals: Raise $2,000,000+ in revenue to fund grants and scholarships for qualified individuals seeking professional development Raise awareness of SCTE education, training, and certification programs Promote SCTE’s new brand position as education and training leader serving all levels of the cable industry In particular, the SCTE Leadership Institute including SCTE- Tuck, SCTE-Georgia Tech and other expanded leadership training programs Engage participation from large MSOs and Vendors
