3 Central Florida’s resident professional Orchestra serving the community as a resource for culture, education and economic development. Our mission is to foster and promote symphonic music through excellence in performance, education and cultural leadership.

4 Performs over 125 concerts annually including 30 Young People’s Concerts $3 million annual operating budget In the black 18 consecutive years for every year of existence $3.7 million endowment 45 “Nucleus” members of the orchestra 220 musicians on our roster

15 Concert Soloists through the years Gary Wolf, Eladio Scharron, Laurent Boukobza, Thomas Potter, Lyman Brodie, Jeremy Hunt, Ayako Yonetani Students have auditioned for and won many roles in the Philharmonic’s concert musicals and operas

16 1998 – 2001 UCF provides funding for 1 st Executive Director search followed with salary support for two years OPO Executive Director taught Masters Arts Management class and served on Music Department’s Chair search Executive Director & General Manager have served on several panels and made various presentations to students

17 Board of Directors – Gary Whitehouse, Tom Keon, Lyman Brodie, Mary Palmer, Lee Kernick UCF provides sponsorship support – has sponsored Opening Night for the past three years
