Saludos [greetings] Hola! Buenos días! Buenas tardes! Buenas noches! Taize Community, France
3
Many nights we've prayed With no proof anyone could hear In our hearts a hopeful song We barely understood Now we are not afraid Although we know there's much to fear We were moving mountains long Before we knew we could When You Believe
4
There can be miracles, when you believe Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill Who knows what miracles you can achieve When you believe, somehow you will You will when you believe
5
In this time of fear When prayers so often proves in vain Hope seems like the summer birds Too swiftly flown away Yet now I'm standing here My heart's so full I can't explain Seeking faith and speaking words I never thought I'd say

“Planted and built up in Jesus Christ, firm in the Faith.” Col 2:7

Group Activity: DRAWING ON FAITH
10
Example n instructions: Drawer closes eyes, is told what they will be drawing, but will not know where the pre draw lines are Drawer is guided to draw the rest of the image under the verbal guidance of ‘God’ – the other partner If drawer really struggles, they are allowed a ‘life-line’, God is allowed to physically guide the drawer to finish one line.
11
Debrief DRAWING ON FAITH
12
Short Story: The faith of the child, Simon Faith in someone cannot so much be taught or reasoned, but firstly experienced.
13
Tools of the Journey: Sacred Scripture Lectio Divina
14
How do you know if you’re following God’s voice or your own imagination? What might the pre-drawn lines represent from the game? How did it feel to have a poor communication with your ‘God’? Why would it be so in reality? Is there a difference between faith and trust (e.g. in the child leaping story) What builds trust in God? How do we make our faith firm? What caused Peter to sink? What differences might having / not having faith make in one’s life?

Psalm 23: The Lord is my Shepherd The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. EN EL NOMBRE DEL PADRE, DEL HIJO, DEL ESPIRITU SANTO. AMEN
22
He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
23
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
