CSTA presentation by TC32-TG11 ECMA - Standardising Information and Communication Systems 18-Jul-018 Enhancements since phase I A flavour for the enhancements made includes: Version and capability negotiation via ASCE and a GetCaps function New device control services and events (e.g. for lamps, display) Support of bridged devices (multiple devices sharing a line) Special Resource Functions have been added to the CSTA model offering specialised capabilities such as speech recording and playback Voice Unit Services have been added for control of basic voice unit functions Input/Output (I/O) Services have been added for the transfer of audio, video, textual and other data-media, and for collection of DTMF-encoded signals Enhancements to Agent State and Call State models New parameters added to Services and Event Reports Increased support for ISDN Support of server connected as well as direct connected applications Enhancements since phase I
