2 Event Management  Registration  BYOB or Third Party Vendor  Beer Check In & Wristbands (on campus)  Party Patrol  Guest List & Sign In sheet  Food, Water, Snacks  Clean Up

3 Never…  Use chapter funds to purchase alcohol  Have a common container (kegs, punch, jello shots  Play drinking games (beer pong, flip cup)  Let a guest leave the party with an open container  Allow alcohol at new member activities

4 Always…  Take care of members and guests  Have at least 6 people on party patrol  Make sure members and guests have a safe way to get home  End events my 2:00 am  Comply with directives from police

5 Hazing  Personal servitude  Sleep deprivation (no activities between midnight and 9:00 am)  Forced consumption of alcohol  Physical abuse  Embarrassment or harassment  Line ups

7 Drugs  Marijuana  Cocaine  Prescription drugs  Absolute Zero Tolerance

8 As an advisor…  Be knowledgeable about campus and national organization policies  Confront inappropriate behavior and ideas  Monitor the checkbook  Spend time with the new members  Be available  Inquire about insurance coverage from national organization
