1 Cochise College Syllabus for MAT 082 – Elementary Algebra You will be using Hawkes Learning Systems Courseware. You may not be familiar with this system, but is quite simple, easy to follow, and has some very powerful tutorials and technical support. I will do my best to help you in moving through the program, but for any software issues, you can get professional help from the software guru’s through their technical support @ 1-800-426-9538. You need to be aware this is the first time this course has been taught as an online classroom. With this in mind please be patient with me and I will do my best to provide you with the best e-learning experience I can. May I suggest you relax and enjoy this program. You will be given many opportunities to learn and practice prior to being certified (formally evaluated) and grades entered in the grade book. I will be as lenient as school policies allow me to do so. My name is Jerry Whaley, I will be your instructor for the next 8 weeks. You can email me any time at: whaleyj@cochise.eduwhaleyj@cochise.edu Copyright 2009 © Cochise College Continue
