12. 12 FUTURE OUTLOOK In the long term, new products are needed to satisfy the requirement of the Air Power capabilities. Medium/Long Term planning is essential due to the duration of the life cycle of those products. Considering the budget constraints a new product concept shall consider the capability to satisfy all identified needs as practicable. Concept trade-off of conventional and LO Combat/ISR MALE UAS for operations in contested/permissive scenarios that may pave the way for the more complex VLO UAS..

13. 13 CONCLUSIONS From an industrial point of view the key points to achieve effective solution which satisfy the future Air Power expectations are: aircraft shall be designed with robust and modular configurations cost-effective solutions would benefit from continuous and tight collaboration between Armed Forces / Services and Industry
