44 Education was designed for the industrial age. The emphasis was on mastering a set amount of knowledge. Teachers lectured, students took notes and memorized the material to pass the tests. Today we have many students who are disinterested and unsuccessful in school. Why doesn’t this model fit for the 21 st Century?
