2 Question 1: Watching television About 43% of Millenials answered NO to this question. The remaining generations (Gen x, Boomer, & Silent) responded YES more than 67% of the time.

3 Question 2: Reading a daily newspaper About 57% of Millenials DID NOT READ a daily newspaper. Only 50% of Gen X and 58% of Boomer respondents did read a daily newspaper. In the Silent Generation, about three-quarters read a daily newspaper.

4 Question 3: Playing video games Overwhelming, all four generations DID NOT PLAY a video game in the last 24 hours. Millenials: 72% Gen X: 86^ Boomer: 85% Silent: 93%

5 Question 4: Phones About 41% of Millenials ONLY have a cell phone. The majority of the Millenials, Gen X respondents, and Boomers have both a cell phone and a landline. A majority of the Silent Generation does not have a cell phone.

6 Question 5: Texting 31% of Millennials said ‘50 or more’ 27% of Millennials said ‘10 to 49’ Therefore, over half of Millennials are using texting as a major form of communication 37% of Gen X respondents, 65% of Boomers and 93% of Silent respondents received NO text messages. About a quarter of Gen X and Boomers received 1 to 9 texts.

7 Question 6: Important of success Only 10% of Millennials said ‘not important’ 27% of Millennials said ‘somewhat important’ 47% of Millennials said ‘very important but not the most important’ 15% of Millennials said ‘the most important’ 40% of Gen X respondents said ‘very important but not the most important’ 41% of Boomers said ‘somewhat important’ 32% of Silent respondents said ‘not important’

8 Question 7: Marrying of different races The majority of Millennials, Gen Xers, and Boomers believe that it doesn’t make much difference for society. A slight majority of Silent respondents (52%) also agreed that it doesn’t make much difference for society. But, 26% of this same generation felt it was a bad thing for society.

9 Question 8: Contact government officials The majority of Millennials (74%), Gen Xers (66%) and Silent respondents (73%) did not contact a government official. Only a slight majority of Boomers (59%) did not contact a government official.

10 Question 9: Social networking profile 75% of Millenials have created a social networking profile. 50% of Gen Xers have created a social networking profile. But,… 70% of Boomers have NOT created a social networking profile. 94% of Silent respondents have NOT created a social networking profile.

11 Question 10: Importance of religion 30% of Millennials said that religion was ‘somewhat important’ while another 28% said that religion was ‘important but not the most important’. 50% of Gen Xers choose the ‘somewhat’ and the ‘important but not the most’ choices. 61% of Boomers and 60% of Silent respondents agreed. Only one-quarter of Silent respondents said ‘one of the most important’

12 Question 11: Parents martial status The majority of all respondents said their parents were married while they grew up: 61% Millennials 71% Gen Xers 85% Boomers 87% Silent respondents But… 37% of Millennials said their parents were not married; the highest NO answer.

13 Question 12: Tattoo 38% of Millennials and 32% of Gen Xers have a tattoo. 85^ of Boomers and 94% of Silent respondents do not have a tattoo.

14 Question 13: Piercings (other than ear) 23% of Millennials have a piercing other than the earlobe; the highest YES group 100% of Silent respondents and 99% of Boomers said NO. 91% of Gen Xers said NO.
