What is Available Through Non-award? Not just 100 level Undergrad and Postgrad Participate in the same units as award students Dept can set criteria for entry

Who Completes Non–award? Undergrads and Postgrads Pathways Students Gifted and Talented Control Cycle General Interest Students Pre – Award students

Pathways Students 50% of Cohort 75% articulate into a degree via the pathway. 11 degree they are able to articulate into.

Gifted and Talented Yr 11 students Complete PHL 137 75% get a D or HD

Control Cycle Students Actuarial Studies Graduates Complete ACST831 & ACST832

General Interest Students For general interest in units Often Academics or mature age students Refresher Courses

Pre Award Students Grad dip requirements Masters requirements Bridging Studies – Law and Accounting Only group who can get Fee Help

Fees and Application Applications lodged directly to COE Close on the 21 st Jan 2011 No FEE-HELP or HECS-HELP, all tuition fees must be paid upfront. Units start from $1575 in 2011

Results 10% fail grade 13% receive a Distinction or High Distinction Excluded if they receive 2 Fails

Summer School Units run in the University break 17 th Dec – 11 th Feb Intensive teaching modes Max 2 subjects Distance or On Campus Upfront Fees or FEE Help

Who does Summer School? Cross – Institutional Students Students finishing their degree Students wishing to speed up their studies Students who have failed a subject Students who want to get a head start on their degree Students who wish to take a subject that did not fit into their program
