Handphone Allowance $14.98 per month $23 per month Outpatient Treatment Reimbursement capped at $22.50/$20 per visit Reimbursement cap will be increased to $35 per visit Annual Leave Encashment of one-third of unused leave per year Leave encashment will cease for 2009 new hires and staff are encouraged to carry forward only 5 days of annual leave to the next year wef June Exceptions will be approved on a case-by-case basis.

5 Summary of Changes Term Changes wef 1 May 2009 Dental Benefit
$130 per year Meal Subsidy (MO only) Mon – Fri $9 per call Sat, Sun & Public Holidays $13.50 per call Special Posting Allowance Existing staff currently being paid will continue to enjoy this allowance. This will be phased out gradually by 2010. Emergency Call Back Day off-in-lieu will be accorded. Transport for the two-way journey from home to workplace will be reimbursed. Maternity Benefit Paid pre and post-natal check-up for females at a co-payment rate of 10% for check up at NHG/SHS clinics. Benefits are extended to wife of male employees at a co-payment rate of 30% for check up at NHG/SHS clinics.
