11 Lesson Plan Ideas Develop a piece of functional ceramic work that incorporates a sense of comfort and generosity. Be sure to include an explanation explaining how your work conveys these factors. Create a piece of functional ceramic work that incorporates both wheel thrown and hand built pieces. This work needs to be based off an inspiration experience in the student’s life and has to be shown within the work, but not using literal symbols. Throw a piece of ceramic work on the wheel that can use the darting technique at least two times effectively. After darting this piece use an inspiration from historical references to develop décor within this piece. References Jennifer Allen-Ceramic Works.(n.d.).
