8  On the next slide, there is a passage with no punctuation.  Add punctuation as necessary. You don’t have to rewrite the entire paragraph, just write what comes before and after the necessary punctuation (and, of course, include the punctuation).

12  Follow along as I read aloud this excerpt from Keller’s book.  As I read, make annotations as needed for  Things you don’t understand  Reactions  Words you don’t know the meaning of

13  Write two paragraphs about the most important day in your life. Use correct punctuation. Use at least one Unit 1 vocabulary word (circle or underline it).  If time permits, share a few of these.  Turn in before leaving.

14  Complete the punctuation handout before tomorrow.

15  Make a two-column chart.  In one column, list the punctuation you understand.  In the other column, list the punctuation that confuses you. If possible, tell why you are confused.
