2.  How important is punctuation? Why?  Are there instances where incorrect punctuation could cause confusion?

8.  On the next slide, there is a passage with no punctuation.  Add punctuation as necessary. You don’t have to rewrite the entire paragraph, just write what comes before and after the necessary punctuation (and, of course, include the punctuation).

13.  Write two paragraphs about the most important day in your life. Use correct punctuation. Use at least one Unit 1 vocabulary word (circle or underline it).  If time permits, share a few of these.  Turn in before leaving.

14.  Complete the punctuation handout before tomorrow.

15.  Make a two-column chart.  In one column, list the punctuation you understand.  In the other column, list the punctuation that confuses you. If possible, tell why you are confused.
