1. IGCSE Literature qualification This year you will be completing an IGCSE in English Literature. The exam board is AQA and you need to do the following. – Complete a piece of coursework comparing 2 texts – Complete an examination which covers 1 text you have studied and some unseen poetry

2. The exam We will be looking at this later in the year in more detail but you will need to – Analyse an unseen poem – Answer a question on the text ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time’

3. The coursework We are going to complete this before October Half Term. We will be comparing the novella ‘Of Mice and Men’ with the play ‘Death of a Salesman’ There is no specified word limit but I feel the final essay will need to be between 600-1000 words The question you will be answering is: How do Steinbeck and Miller depict The American Dream in ‘Of Mice and Men’ and ‘Death of a Salesman’?
