The parable of the prodigal son Luke 15:11-32 The story of the Prodigal Son. In the lower part he runs towards his aged father, who receives him in his embrace.

The parable of the draw net Matt 13: 47-50 The sea in an inlet; in this is a ship with the Apostles dragging in the net. Christ, standing on the shore, blesses them.

The parable of the two blind men Matt 15:14 Luke 6:39 Christ, standing at a distance and pointing Pharisees to the Apostles, holds a scroll with the words: “if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

The parable of the unmerciful servant Matt 18: 21-35 Christ, as a king, sits on a throne, giving His blessing, flanked by angels. A man kneeling before Him says: “Have patience with me, and I will pay three all”.

The parable of the good Samaritan Luke 10: 25-37 Mountains. On the road lies a naked man, being beaten by three thieves. In another part, the same man lies on the ground, while a Jewish priest sees him and hastens away. In yet another part, the same wounded man is seen placed on the back of a horse, which is led by a Samaritan.

The parable of the friend of midnight Luke 11: 5-13 The icon shows a house in which the members of the family are asleep, while someone is knocking on the gate.

The parable of the rich fool Luke 12: 13-21 Imposing buildings. In the middle a ruler, with a crown on his head. Around him men carry wheat, build houses, saw planks, and so on. In the other corner of the icon an angel with a lance takes his soul.

The parable of the barren fig tree Luke 13: 6-9 Christ is ordering Death to cut a man down. The angel who is the guardian of the man imploring Christ: “Let him alone this year also”.

The parable of the hidden treasure Matt 13:44 Christ is talking to a man who is digging in the earth and finds a treasure which he wants to keep at all costs.

The parable of the good shepherd John 10: 11-21 Christ is surrounded by His sheep, while he has a protective hold on a sheep.
