2. Krishna became Ruler of Dwarka. Guru Sandipan’s Ashram. Sudama remained a poor Brahmin. 2

3. Sudama reluctantly went to meet his old friend. Meet your old friend Krishna. Small bag of beaten rice as present for Krishna. 3

4. Sudama reached Dwarka dressed in Rags. Guard told Krishna of his friends arrival. 4

5. Krishna ran bare-foot to meet Sudama. 5

6. Krishna seated Sudama on a comfortable chair. Krishna washed and pressed his tired feet. 6

7. Sudama hesitated to give him the beaten rice. Sudama reluctantly gave him the rice. Krishna began to eat the rice. 7

8. Sudama started getting rid of his poverty as Krishna ate the rice. Queen Rukmini grabbed the hand of Krishna to stop from eating another morsel. 8

9. Sudama left the palace next morning with no gift from Krishna. But a magnificent palace stood in place of his old hut. His wife and children wore fine clothes. Such was Krishna’s love for his old friend. 9

10. Conclusion Lord Krishna does not differentiate between people based on their wealth. He always rewards the true devotion. We should not expect anything free in life. God always provides us for our good deeds.
