Background info Harriet was born around 1821 on Brodas Plantation as a slave. When Harriet was old enough, Mr.Brodas sent her to the fields picking cotton. She has no opportunity to go to school. Her parents are Harriet Greene and Ben Ross. She has been hired many times and beaten a lot. Harriet has 9 siblings, including herself. Harriet Tubman enslaved as a babysitter

What Did She Do? Harriet Tubman has escaped slavery and was the person who controlled the “Underground Railroad”. The Underground Railroad are safe houses, when they escape, they hide inside them. Harriet Tubman has freed, 1000+ slaves. She headed back South to free every slave she knows. Harriet Tubman

Examples of Leadership #1 Harriet Tubman, was really brave and strong, she has inspired many to never give up on their dreams and that anything is possible if they just help achieve it.

Examples of Leadership #2 Harriet Tubman also had shown everyone how confident she can be. She may have been tortured, hurt, or beaten. She’s still there standing strong.
