7 WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT MACRONUTRIENTS In this activity, you will be organized into groups of three. Each group will receive a foam board with the macronutrients as HEADINGS for three different categories. There will be fifteen characteristics of macronutrients; your group must discuss were all fifteen will be categorized based on the characteristic matching the macronutrient. Fats 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 9 Let’s Review: Each of you have three different color note cards. Each color represents one of the macronutrients: Protein, Fat, and Carbohydrates. Blue: Carbohydrates Green: Protein Yellow: Fats I’ll ask a question; you will respond with raising the color note card that you believe is the correct answer. HEALTHY EATING-MACRONUTRIENTS REVIEW
