2. Location  Honduras is in Central America, below the United States.  Honduras is a bit larger than our state of Tennessee.  Honduras has coastline along the Caribbean Sea to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west.

5. The Land: Honduras is mountainous except on the coasts. Forests cover much of the land. Lots of amazing, colorful birds live there, as well as many different kinds of animals: jaguars, pumas, kinkajous, anteaters, sloths, monkeys, and ocelots. Weather: Honduras has a dry season from December through April. March and April are very hot. It’s cooler in the mountains.
