Atomic resonance is intrinsically more stable than quartz local oscillator. “Natural” atomic microwave resonance frequency is synthesized from RF LO. Control Loop continuously steers LO frequency to atomic resonance. RF output (10 MHz) embodies stability of atomic resonance.
