How do plants get water and sunlight? By Ommar Aburaddad And Hassan Al- Thani
2
How do plants get water and minerals? Plants get water and minerals by the roots. It is the roots job to get all these stuff from the soil.
3
How do plants get sunlight? Plants get sunlight by the process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process of when carbon dioxide is made into something organic such as oxygen.
4
The four things needed for photosynthesis All these things are needed for photosynthesis: 1) sunlight: which comes from the sun 2)Chlorophyl:The green substance which is found in the chloroplasts. Which makes leaves look green. The good thing about chlorophyll is that it absorbs the energy in the sun. 3)Carbon dioxide: Carbon dioxide which enters the leaf. 4) water: which comes from the soil that is absorbed by the roots and then goes up the stem to the leafs.
5
AOI: Environment Plants are related to the environment because plants help the environment with giving carbon dioxide which is co2
6
What are the rates of photosynthesis As you know photosynthesis has a lot of rates and the three most important rates of photosynthesis is The amount of light, the amount of carbon dioxide, and the temperature. The amount of light: The chlorophyll uses the light energy and what it does is that it perform photosynthesis, depending on how fast the light energy is arriving. The amount of Carbon dioxide; Co2 and water are the raw materials, water is never short in supply in a plant. The temperature: Chlorophyll is like an enzyme so it works best when it’s warm but not too hot. The rate of photosynthesis depends on how ‘happy’ the chlorophyll enzyme.
