3 The steepness of the line tells you how fast the object is moving. SLOWER FASTER The steeper the line, the faster the motion.

4 Portions of the line that are parallel to the X-axis show an object that is not moving. NOT MOVING

5 If the line slopes downward, the object is moving backwards. The object is moving backward here!

6 Figure out the Distance and Time for the part of the graph being asked about. Using the Graph to Calculate Distance = 55 km Time = 70 min. 55km 70min. 0.79 km/min. =
