Oregon AMS Updates Oregon AMS yearly membership dues are only $7 per year. Please see John Rinier (AMS Treasurer) to renew or sign up today. The AMS is continually seeking new members who want to join. Yes, you can pay for multiple years if desired! The Oregon AMS is now the single largest non-college based local AMS chapter in the country. We host 8 monthly meetings per year along with the annual “Winter Weather Forecast Conference” now in it’s 20 th year. Tuesday June 12 th 2012 7-9pm (Social Hour 6-7pm) Annual AMS Dinner Meeting Kathie Dello – Deputy Director of Oregon Climate Service “What’s new with the Oregon Climate Service” Note – Dinner meeting at Old Spaghetti Factory in Clackamas. Let’s Take A Quick Audience Poll On Human Caused Global Warming! Do you feel humans have a significant influence on climate change? Post meeting update (4/11/10) --- last nights poll showed at least 90% of the audience feel that humans have a significant influence on climate change. That was nearly the exact reverse percentage of the January meeting.
