3  Our mission is to create a positive environment where high school student-athletes are able to learn and develop the skills needed to play competitive lacrosse. Emphasis will be placed on self-confidence, hard work, integrity, leadership, sportsmanship, and a love of sports, which will provide the players the skills needed to succeed in life on or off the field.

4  All 9 th and 10 th graders need to register through RAAA for 9/10 team.  www.rosemountyouthlacrosse.com www.rosemountyouthlacrosse.com  The registration is a wait list process.

5  Practice everyday after school from 5pm to 7pm at Bloomfield Park (Tentative)  If field or weather is in poor conditions; practice could be at RHS, dome, or local arena.  Games will be held on Saturdays in Jamboree format (2 games a day with at least a 1 hour break)  Own transportation is required

6  Players will need their own equipment.  Players will receive game jerseys, game shorts, and game bag.

7  Each Wednesday we host a “family” style all team dinner at RHS.  We have a VIP guest each week that shares stories, advice, and a lesson for the players.  We want all players to attend the team dinner after practice.

14  Baseline Testing Feb. 26 th 3pm to 5pm in Library.  - Testing is free  - Takes approx 30 min to complete  - Athletes that have completed this test while in another sport this year don't have to take it again  - Test is good for 2 years

15  Thursday and Friday are the last after school captains practices  March 2 nd -March 20 th captain’s practices are before school 5:30 am-6:45 am  Spring Break captain’s practice schedule will be posted on our calendar.  We will have several open dome times during break.

16  RAAA is hosting a youth camp for K-2,3-5, and 6 th -8 th grade players.  We need Juniors and Seniors to help work the event.  RAAA will reimburse players for their time.  Monday through Thursday 11:30 am to 4:15 pm  Sign up in back  We are looking for Midfielders and Attackmen to sign up.

17  March 30 th through April 1 st  Currently planned for 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm outside  If inside, the time varies.  Possible times would be 5:30 am-6:45 am, 2:45pm -5:00 pm, or 5:30-7pm.  Possible locations are dome and main gym.  Please monitor website and email for up to day information.  There could also be two-a-days.

18  Teams will be selected based upon:  Player skill level (including speed, stick skills, size and Lacrosse IQ)  Need  Comprehensive player work ethic  Academics  Player attitude  Citizenship

19  Varsity will be 20-24 players initially  JV will be 18-22 players  18-22 players on 9/10 team

20  April 2 nd : Teams practice separately  April 3 rd : Jersey Hand Out (Immediately after school)  April 4 th : Varsity Scrimmage at Holy Angels  April 6 th -April 11 th : Community Service Food Drive  April 9 th : Varsity Team Poster 5:30 pm  April 11 th Morning: Team Building Event

21  All games will be posted on the website  9/10 games will be held on Saturdays  Varsity and JV games are typically Tuesday and Thursdays.  Game times vary between schools

24 Brett Boyum The Rosemount High School Boys Lacrosse Booster Club’s mission is to rally our community’s time and talent to provide logistical, volunteer, and monetary support of our student athletes, coaches, and operations of the Rosemount High School Boys Lacrosse program.

30  Coaches $11000 (paid 9/10 coach and assistant 9/10 Coach)  Practice Packs- $7500-8000  Equipment -$4000  Coach’s Clinics and Training $1800  Try out pinnies -$900  Team Parties $1000  Senior Night and Scholarships-$1200  Busing $1500  Banquet $500  Other items-$1500  Every dollar goes somewhere back to the players

31  Average Cost per player above district support: $425-$500(depending on number of players)

32  Raffle -40%  Advertising -25%  Misc Fundraisers -10%  Booster Club Sponsorship-25% ◦ Parent’s Opportunity to support program ◦ Pledge cards

33  Tonight, all players have to pick up a set of raffle tickets and give a check to the booster club  You will not get your players packs until you pick up your raffle tickets  Return small envelopes to Coach Kuehn  If player sells raffle tickets, there will be no cost to the family.  Turn in Raffles by March 18 th to Coach Kuehn

34  Pledge and join our Boosters (financially) to help build and grow our program!  Receive a yard sign for pledges $100 and greater! A terrific way to bring awareness to our program.  Membership Category: ◦ Gold ($500 and above) ◦ Navy ($250-$499) ◦ Green ($100 - $249) ◦ Booster (up to $100)

35  We also have a few fundraisers that are not demanding and are ongoing: ◦ Pahl’s market coupons ◦ Old Cell phone collection
