2 Bella Championship Been running for 5 years in same format now Goals –To identify the consistently fastest runner in the club, at all road distances from 5K to marathon. –To provide a framework for all levels in the club to measure individual progress Format –Points allocated for finishing time compared to a recognised table 25 races chosen from Sept 07 through Sept 08 8 races to be completed to qualify –2 short, 2 medium & 2 long (plus 2 “best of the rest”)

3 Top 3 Bella Races in 2007/08: #1 – GSR Half Marathon/10K (72) #2 – Bella President’s Cup (57) #3 – Bella 5K (50) Also note: Marathon popularity still on rise Drop in popularity of Polaroid 10Ks Top Bella Races

9 Been running for 3 years now Goals –To identify the top improvers in the club –To persuade runners to try a new race type especially cross country & hills Format –Points allocated for finishing time compared to (a) race winners time and (b) 10K PB in 2007 8 races chosen from October 07 through March 08 4 races to be completed to qualify Winter Handicap 2007/08
