2 Remember… What is a noun? A noun is a person, place, thing, or idea.

3 Remember… What is a verb? A verb is a “doing” or action word.

4 Remember… What is an adjective? An adjective is a word that describes a noun. Adjectives are descriptive words.

5 Remember… What is an adverb? An adverb is a word that describes a verb. Adverbs tell us how, when, and where something happened. If you see “ly” it is usually an adverb!
