2 Real Conditionals are used to talk possible situations in the present or the future. o They are used to tell people: emotion  An emotion OR reaction  A reaction Real Conditionals

3 Real Conditionals made by using in “If” Clause The “If” Clause is always made with a simple present tense verb o If clause- used to talk about an action that might happen If I pass this class, … If we go to the beach, … If she goes to the spa,… If you fail an exam,... o Can also use “when” instead of “if” When I pass this class, … When we go to the beach, … When she goes to the spa, … When you fail an exam, … “If” Clause

6 Using the correct adjective in “Real Conditionals” is very important. o Using the wrong adjective will change the meaning of your sentence. When “ed” and when “ing”?
