Social Studies Women’s History Sally Ride was the first American woman to enter space She was in space for more than 14 days in all Sally was the youngest astronaut to go into space Sally started her own company called Sally Ride Science She was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame and the Astronaut Hall of Fame.
