2 Conjugate What does this mean?
It means pairing up the subject with the right form of the verb. For example, the verb “to be” in English is conjugated: I am, you are, he is, we are, and they are. You’d never hear: I be, you be, he be, etc.

3 Subject pronouns Singular Plural je I nous we tu you vous you
il he or it ils they (m) elle she or it elles they (f) on one You have to memorize these! You will use them all the time!!!!!!!

4 On On refers to people in general.
In English its equivalent is one, you or they. It also means we in a casual style. En France, on parle francais. In France they speak French.

5 Let’s conjugate être! When you learn a new verb, write it in 2 columns… always in the same order. je suis nous sommes tu es vous êtes il/elle/on est ils/elles sont

6 Professions To say what profession someone is, you never use an article: Je suis professeur. Will Ferrell est acteur. Ariana Grande est chanteuse. Tu es élève.
