2 Definitions TermsDefinitions Member typeMember types classify members and grant them specific rights within the community. Currently, NEW has several member types, including Individual Member, Ambassador (or Master Account), Corporate Member (or Sub-account), and Staff. MembershipEach Ambassador is entitled to a fixed number of memberships (or seats) depending on their company’s sponsorship level. It is the Ambassador’s right to assign and manage these memberships, which are also known as Sub-accounts. Corporate Ambassador or Master Account The key point person from a NEW sponsor company responsible for managing their company’s NEW memberships -- i.e., inviting colleagues to become NEW members or Sub-accounts and deactivating them when appropriate. Corporate Member or Sub-account Once invited by an Ambassador, your firm’s Corporate Members have all the privileges of Network membership, including discounts on national events and access to members only portions of our website.

3 Ambassador invitation process Ambassador receives email with username/password and logs in to www.newonline.org Ambassador updates their profile, then manages My Sub-accounts Ambassador adds each person’s email (one line at a time; can copy and paste easily from list) and “sends invites” “Invitee” receives email invitation with link to login and instructions “Invitee” clicks link (or copies into address bar of browser) and is taken to the “Join the Network” page Invitee (non-member) enters Last Name and “newonline” for verification code to search database for match If a match exists, invitee enters a new username, selects region (or “none”) and continues to complete their profile Upon completion of the profile, the non-member is converted to a “sub-account” (corporate member) of the “master account” (ambassador) Ambassador receives a notification that the sub- account has joined the network and can now manage that sub-account from their “My Sub-accounts” option

4 What the Ambassador does  Ambassador goes to “My Membership,” then “Manage My Membership” and selects Sub-accounts to invite colleagues from their organization  Sends invite to each of their allotted “seats” by entering just the email addresses, one line at a time  Transaction is completed when the recipient responds to the invitation and logs on

5 What the Sub-account invitee does  The person invited to become a Sub-account member receives this email message  They click on the link or copy and paste it into the address bar of their browser – link expires in 7 days  The invitee follows the link to this page and enters their and the Verification Code

6 What the Sub-account invitee does  Invitee chooses matching record or creates a new record if none found  Invitee creates username and selects regional (if applicable)  Click register

7 What the Sub-account invitee does  Invitee is then asked to enter the details of their profile  The more information they share the easier it is to connect with other NEW members inside and outside your company

8 What the Ambassador does  Ambassador receives an email notification that their sub-account has joined
