The program is based on HANDS-ON exercises working from sample construction documents Attendees will preview workshop material about: o NPDES stormwater permit requirements o Erosion and Sediment Control practices o Working with a SWPPP o Meeting and transferring permit responsibilities With the new statewide NPDES Phase II Construction Permit requirements, the way we deal with erosion control and site stabilization on every construction site in Minnesota has changed. GOALS OF THIS TRAINING 1. To provide the construction industry and stormwater professionals with a training program that delivers a clear, consistent messages about the state’s stormwater requirements 2. To meet the basic needs of construction professionals working in the field WHAT YOU WILL GET Workshop materials including stormwater curricula and hand outs that can be used during the 2005 building season Recognition for providing industry leadership in stormwater and permit compliance Up-to-date knowledge of Minnesota’s Stormwater regulations and policies If you are working in a construction zone or development that disturbs one acre or more or disturbs less than one acre and is part of a larger development, these state regulations apply to you!
