2. Hello, I am Cornelia I am a house wife in Williamsburg, Virginia. I am happy married to Micajah Together we happily have 2 kids, Prudence and Josiah I am apart of the Southern Colony

3.  I am head of the house old instead of my husband  Thank goodness I am married, if not I would have had to be supported by my friends and relatives  If my marriage doesn’t work out me and my husband couldn’t get a divorce. I would ask the court for a separation and they would always tell us to work out our differences or separate with out a legal agreement

4.  Since I do stay home almost all of the day, I have to cook all of the meals  I have to get up real early in the mornin’ to start cookin’ all the meals for the day

5.  Some of the things we use in our house is hand made, like our candles and soup  I have to make clothes for our children  I have to spin and weave and knit. It actually starts to hurt after a while.

6.  The roads in our little town were very small. A lot of our horses were too big for the roads  The one type of road I like is the Mast Road, it’s the good road that ain’t rough but most of them lead to forest so its no good  It was very hard to travel on the roads because of there conditions  When we did travel we used Horses, Sleds, and Wagons. If it was a short distance, we walked

7.  My children love to play games. Once in a while when we all have free time we like to get the whole family in to play fun games  Most of these game would be designed to help you on your daily skills or problems

8.  Each colony had different beliefs, my colony believes in Baptist and Anglicans  Our service were very serious and everyone was excepted to come and there was no horse play

9.  Our services could last almost all day long, if that did happen they would break for a large meal and talk a little then return back to the service  My husband was not allowed to cut or shave any of his facial hair

10.  There wasn’t really any close talking to neighbors. Mostly because your “neighbors” weren’t so close.  If you wanted to talk to anyone you have to use some type of transportation to get to where you wanted just to talk to someone
