2 Study Design Study Design  Select the National Survey of Engagement (NSSE) to measure college student gains first to senior year  Assemble a consortium of Catholic colleges Fourteen (14) in 2004 Thirty-six (36) in 2007  Append questions on mission to NSSE Questions developed, refined from a set used previously. Mined mission statements of consortium participants to distill collection of mission concepts common to the Catholic colleges. Finalized question set; vetted with NSSE consultants.  Administer NSSE with Catholic Consortium questions
