2. A Little Patience---And Kindness, Too Galatians 5:22-23

3. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kind- ness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Gal. 5:22-23)

4. PATIENCE Forbearance under provocation. Long- suffering and restraining retribution. Bearing with one another in love. Based on God’s example toward humanity; involves a choice to restrain immediate negative emotional reactions.

5. As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. (Ephesians 4:1-2)

6. KINDNESS Gracious attitudes and actions shown to others. God modeled kindness through his salvation to us. Jesus’ Golden Rule: “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Active choices to demonstrate love. Godly civility.

7. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32)
