Digital Storytelling is the modern expression of the ancient art of storytelling. Digital stories derive their power by weaving images, music, narrative and voice together, thereby giving deep dimension and vivid colour to characters, situations, experiences, and insights (Digital Storytelling Association). Digital stories are simply the latest manifestation of one of humankind’s oldest activities: storytelling (Thornburg, p2). Using today 's technology to tell yesterday's stories for tomorrow's generations (Barrett, 2009).
