More focus, therefore the six Areas of Focus Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution Disease Prevention and Treatment Water and Sanitation Maternal and Child Health Basic Education and Literacy Economic and Community Development

More focus Larger projects Less dispersion of money and control Lots of attention to continuity and sustainability of the projects

More responsibility to Rotaryclubs and District District must be qualified by TRF Basically: “we will be responsible in spending TRF funds”. District qualifies the Rotaryclubs via MOU Memorandum of Understanding (same) DDF: DSG 20% to DG 50% Reporting and financials in District

More cooperation With other NGO’s With Gates Foundation, Unesco, Cordaid etc.

More visibility Result: Every one wants to be part of a winning team! This leads to many additional benefits: - More and easier contributions - Attractiveness for new/younger members - etc.

FV in real life Paper based to Web based Matching Grant becomes Global Grant Project > US$ 30.000 TRF match > US$15.000 (excl. DDF!) But: Areas of Focus and sustainability District Simplified Grant now: District Grant available 50% of DDF, was 20% One District application per year

FV in real life GSE becomes VTT (Vocational Training Team) No more “holiday-trip”, aiming for impact Polio remains priority Peace and Conflict is important area Water receives extra focus, through the cooperation with Unesco-IHE Strategic cooperation on microcredit
