Bangladesh being pioneer in garments sector playing important role as manufacturer of ready-made garments for the international market. Couple of years back from a modest start export volume of Bangladesh in this sector has been increased considerably over the past few years, resulting in an export earning of almost US$ 10, million during the financial years against the initial earning of US$ 0.65 million in Initially, the market was limited to few West European countries and U.S.A. which subsequently expanded to Canada, Scandinavian, Nordic and East European countries, Japan, China and even India.
Currently Bangladesh exports Garments and Garments related accessories in thirty Countries with over 70 different categories of products. More than 5000 Garments manufacturing units of different capacities running in Bangladesh, with an annual average production capacity of 5,000 million pcs of ready-made garments of different items. AGL started its journey back on 2005 but subsequently started to expose in the name & style as AGL Group on August 2006 in Bangladesh. Initially company started with a buying house representing few US and European buyers. Followed to that company started up it's own Garments Manufacturing, Yarn Manufacturing unit, Dyeing, Garment Printing, Label, Sewing Thread Manufacturing & other accessories.
Having its own Garments and accessories Industry and highly qualified Technician, the Company has been offering most competitive price with better services to its prospective buyers from the very beginning. The Company meantime producing and exporting all kinds of Men/Ladies Apparels like Men's Shirt, Ladies Blouse, Trouser, Shorts, Skirt, and Jacket; and in Knitwear T-shirt, Polo Shirt, Knit Sets, Pullover & Sweater etc in Cotton, CVC, T/C, Acrylic, Cotton Nylon, Cotton-Viscose and other manmade fabrics/fibers of different design, construction and composition by organizing from local sources as well as from overseas source like - China, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Bangkok, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan & India as per buyers requirement in any style & design. Company exporting 90% of knit garments and 20% for woven garments made by locally produced fabric.
