HELP A CHILD

What’s it all about?

If you don’t want to wear a Christmas jumper, then you can pay £1 donation to wear any jumper other than your school jumper for Friday 13 th December only. You will still need to wear the rest of your uniform (obviously!) What’s it all about?

Your money saves lives Save the Children works in 120 countries. They save children’s lives. They fight for their rights. They help them fulfil their potential. Why should we do it?

Will £1 really make a difference? A donation of £1 really can save lives. Your £1 could buy: – One day’s high-nutrient food to help treat a severely nourished child – Nine sachets of oral rehydration treatment for children suffering from life-threatening diarrhoea – Antibiotics to treat three new born babies with potentially deadly infections

All you need to do is bring in your £1 on Friday 13 th December – Christmas Jumper Day Your form tutor will collect money from those people wearing a different jumper and form reps (or someone responsible) can then take the money straight to the sixth form office - they will then tick off your form as paid! Paying your £1 (or more)

Each form will decide who is wearing the best jumper and pass nominations on to their Head of Year. They will then make a choice as to the best jumper out of the whole year group which will win a small festive prize! Competition!

We look forward to seeing your efforts!
