HouseSenate 2 year terms Oklahoma Representatives – 5 Total Representatives– 435 Leader- Speaker Of The House 6 year terms Oklahoma Senators – 2 Total Senators – 100 Leader- Vice President *Senators can approve treaties and presidential appointments.*

HouseSenate Qualifications – Must be 25 years of age, Citizen of the U.S. for at least 7 years, living in the state you are representing and it helps if you are from that state. Qualifications – Must be 30 years of Age, Citizen of the U.S. for at least 9 years, must be living in the state you are running/elected for.

Oklahoma Senators Jim Inhofe, republican, from Des Moines, Iowa. Inhofe is a U.S. Army Veteran and an avid pilot. Inhofe graduated from the University of Tulsa and is currently living in Tulsa. Tom Coburn, republican, from Casper, Wyoming. Coburn is a medical doctor and a Southern Baptist deacon. He attended both OSU and OU and is currently living in Muskogee.
