Preliminaries: Project Focus Question  Divide into teams of no more than 3 people.  Launch Microsoft Word.  Consider what electronic device has had the greatest impact upon you, your family, friends, or community.  In a Word document, write at lest four sentences stating your decision in the first sentence and one reason in each of the remaining 3 sentences (50 classwork pts.).

3. Tasks to Complete  Select the device you think is most important.  Investigate the people who contributed to the development of this device and its effects on society.  Device Design and Operation  Research and Development  Marketing Techniques and Effects  Design a Web site to communicate what you have learned.  Use Expression Web to create the Web site by March 1, 2011.

4. Tasks to Complete  BONUS: share your work with others by:  posting to the Internet by March 1, 2011 (see me beforehand)  10-minute oral presentation by March 8, 2011  Projects will count for 50% of the grade for this quarter.
