3. Why you must “work” to influence? (Eph. 2:8-10) (vv.8-9) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. (v.10) For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

4. What is “Work (ergon / ἔ ργον”)? The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat. (2 Thes. 3:10) …work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.
