FROM THE MOOON TO MARS BY ANDREW POWERS

How It Will Work Stage 1  A rocket will go to the moon to set up a moon colony  The astronauts will conduct a series of tests to confirm the colony is safe  The colony will contain a fuel depot

How It Will Work Stage 2  A rocket from Earth will go to Mars and stop at the moon to refuel  The rocket separates and the robonauts build the Mars colony while the astronauts orbit mars for research  The robonauts complete the construction and the astronauts live and work on mars

The Rocket Overlook  The rocket will contain the essential supplies, robonauts, and building materials  The rocket will carry refillable rocket boosters  The nosecone will carry the astronauts  The engine is an experimental combination of carbon and dry fuel

The Nosecone  When the rocket orbits the moon the nosecone will be ejected  The astronauts will live in the nosecone until the robonauts finish assembling the prefabricated moon colony  The nosecone will split and an all in one satellite will be ejection as the astronauts land on the moon in the other half of the nosecone  There will be an escape pod built in if for any reason something goes wrong

Payload  The rocket will eject Containers to the moon  They will have living supplies such as water, food, seeds, and preserved fish eggs  The containers will container robonauts to finish the structures

The Engine  The engine will be a conventional solid  It will have three 9 million pound thrust engines

The Booster Engine  The rocket booster will contain carbon dioxide  It will eject carbon dioxide to propel the rocket when then main fuel engines run out

Robonauts  Robonauts are robotic astronauts that do manual labor  Robonauts prevent potential injuries to astronauts  Robonauts come in different forms depending on the job they were designed to do

The Moon Colony

Oxygen Supply There will be a giant liquid gas container with a special mix of gasses which will ensure human survival This will be replaced accordingly to the oxygen use of the astronauts

Food Supply There will be a gravity sound environment which will be achieved by a spinning greenhouse This will allow grains to grow There will also be a fishery for proteins Eventually livestock will be introduced in this environment such as cows, pigs and chickens Water will be achieved through water distillation

Power Source The colony will rely on solar power as its main energy source Solar power is a good source of energy because the colony will be built on the bright side of the moon Solar power is also nonrenewable resource and is one of the easiest resource to gain in space

Transportation There will be “hoppers” to transport people Hoppers are vehicles which use legs to thrust the vehicle up This looks like it’s jumping

How To Get to Mars WWe use the same principle as the moon colony EExcept there will be special robonauts which are able to dig and pour foundation TThe robonauts actually need to build the colony IIt will not be prefabricated because the windstorm would blow it away TThe rocket will refuel and crisply at the moon colony on the way to mars

Mars Colony

Power Source oSimilar to the moon colony, the Mars colony will be powered by solar power oThis will be stored in a backup battery

Oxygen Supply oWe will get oxygen from a generator which will splice the carbon dioxide and form oxygen oWe will get a backup supply from the plants which will turn carbon into oxygen

Food oWe will have livestock such as cows, chickens and pigs oWe will be able to farm beans and oats using hydroponics oWe will also have fisheries to supply seafood oThere will be an artificial lake fed by a water distillation plant

Transportation We will ride around in solar powered cars These use no fuel and are able to work on mars because the gravity is relatively the same

As you can see with this technology mankind has a bright tomorrow ahead of them thank you for your time!!!
