What is Movement Literacy? ‘Movement Literacy’ is; “The identification and understanding of the building blocks of movement” “The development of core FUNdamental skills that go into the make-up of any specific movement” Level 1 Support Coach © ASA 2006

A = Agility The ability to move quickly, lightly and easily (Nimble/Agile) Level 1 Support Coach © ASA 2006

C = Coordination Muscle groups working together in harmony, in order to perform movements Level 1 Support Coach © ASA 2006
