Translation [Asad] O YOU who have attained to faith! Remain conscious of God; and let every human being look to what he sends ahead for the morrow! And [once again]: Remain conscious of God, for God is fully aware of all that you do; and be not like those who are oblivious of God, and whom He therefore causes to be oblivious of [what is good for] their own selves: [for] it is they, they who are truly depraved! [ Sahih International] O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do. And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.

و ق يو ق ي Fear, Be conscious, Being careful, خاف, خشي, The root of Taqwa is وقى. Appeared 258 times in Quran in various forms Meaning protect, save, safeguard, preserve, shelter, keep Taqwa is the 8 th form of verb وقى. So it means an ‘end state’. Taqwa is Being careful; knowing your place in the cosmos. Its proof is the experience (8 th form of verb) of awe of Allah, which inspires a person to be on guard against wrong action and eager for actions which are pleasing to Him. Used twice in the same ayat (also in 6:69, 5:93, 4:1, 2:282, 2:203, 2:189). But only in two places as a commandment
6
Being careful Sayyidna Ubay Ibn Ka'b gave a comprehensive explanation of taqwa in response to a query from Hadrat Umar Farooq radi Allahu anhuma. Hadhrat Ka'b questioned, "O Amirul Momineen, have you ever walked on a path full of thorns?" Hadhrat Umar replied, "Yes". Hadrat Ka'b then enquired, "What did you do?" In reply, Hadhrat Umar stated, "I gathered my clothing and lifted it up to my shin, thereafter I watched my steps and took each step carefully from the fear of thorns lest they prick me". Hadrat Ka'b said, "This is taqwa". - See more at: http://www.islamicity.com/articles/articles.asp?ref=ic1107-4770#sthash.un5QaPWw.dpuf

Forgetfulness Allah’s forgetfulness makes us forgetful about ourselves. What’s the opposite of it? Sura Baqarah 153– “Remember me, I’ll remember you’ Remembrance of our Lord is our lifeline, just like water is for a fish
8
Feedback Control Action Feedback/Look back Diff error Desired Output Remembrance/ Dua’ Intention, Plan Lookback (‘Waltanjur’) System
9
Why in the same Ayat, wattaqullah is used twice? First wattaqullah is necessary to be cautious about Allah (SWT) before starting any task. Second one is to do ‘Waltanjur’. It is important because how we see our error/mistake is important. We should have Taqwa in correcting our mistakes The Second Taqwa is necessary to be able to recognize mistakes,
